Hanoi to offer 120 online level-3 public services

PSNews - In first quarter of 2017, Hanoi will continue to provide 120 public services of level 3, said Ms. Phan Lan Thu, Director of the Hanoi Information and Communications Department. 

The first phase starts from January 19th operating 27 services; the second phase from March 1st continues another 20 services; and the last phase from March 15th deploys the 73 remaining services.

In the first phase, the Department of Justice will start 12 online services for lawyers to register their profession; the Department of Culture and Sports will deploy 2 services to license advertisements; and the Department of Tourism will open 6 services to grant certificates to tour guides.

In order to save the time for citizens, Hanoi encourages people and businesses to actively use level 3-4 public services, in an effort to build an e-citizen and e-government Hanoi.

Since July 31st 2017, Hanoi has debuted an online Portal at egov.hanoi.gov.vn, providing 7 online public services, including justice services integrated into services of Public Security and Social Insurance sectors.

As of December 15th, 2016, the online public service system has been deployed in 584 communes, wards and towns of the city with positive results.  About 70% of the documents and services has been performed online, improving the working quality and saving time for citizens in dealing with administrative procedures.
