Health officials in Ha Nam dismissed for violations of pandemic prevention

The director of the health center of Ly Nhan district and head of the Dao Ly communal medical point have been suspended from office to clarify potential in pandemic prevention and combat, said Tran Xuan Duong, Vice Chairman of the Ha Nam Provincial People’s Committee.

The two health officials’ responsibility for the recent COVID-19 cases in the district will be clarified by relevant agencies, provincial official added.
So far, the northern delta province of Ha Nam has confirmed 12 COVID-19 community transmissions, while over 500 people have been under quarantine, since the first case was detected last week.
The Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Combat of Ha Nam held a meeting on May 2 to discuss anti-pandemic measures.
The province has isolated the four villages of Quan Nhan, Tho Lao, Dong Yen and Noi Do in Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam.
