Hoang Sa – Truong Sa exhibition arrives in Hoi An

On April 21st in Hoi An, the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Information and Communications in coordination with the Hoi An Municipal People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the exhibition to display maps and documents themed "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa of Vietnam - Historical and Legal evidence" as well as of Book and Publication Fair 2017.

There are more than 150 maps published by Vietnam, China and western countries as well as 4 atlas and many ancient bibliographies in various languages, which confirm Vietnam’s legitimate sovereignty over the two archipelagoes of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.

The exhibition aims to raise sense of responsibility of  people for protecting national sea and island sovereignty.               

At the same time, the Book and Publication Fair 2017 with 10 booths of various books and publications was opened at Thanh Hoa Library, Hoi An City, to create a healthy playground for people, and encourage and develop reading culture in the community.

The exhibition will run until April 24.
