The field hospital can have 1,000 beds.

According to Mr. Ngo Truong Tho, Director of the Da Nang Sports Center, 240 beds will be installed in the main area of the hospital in the first phase.

In a more critical case,400 more beds will be placed along corridors on the second and third floor.
The Tien Son Sports Center, which is located in Hai Chau District, Da Nang city, covers an area of over 94,000 square meters, including 2 basements and 4 floors.
By the early morning of August 1, tons of equipment have been transported to the sport center and the hospital is now ready to be installed.
The Da Nang Sports Center’s staff has moved out all sporting equipment and facilities and handed over the site to the People’s Committee of Da Nang City and the City Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
