In pictures: Public security medical workers volunteer to support Bac Giang

The Hospital 19/8 and Hospital of Traditional Medicines under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on May 27 sent 166 doctors and nurses to the COVID-19-hit province of Bac Giang.

Upholding the the spirit of “Leave no one behind”, 166 doctors and nurses from the 198 Hospital and the Hospital of Traditional Medicine under the Ministry of Public Security have come to Bac Giang. These public security medical workers from the two hospitals are mainly responsible for running Field Hospital No. 2 located in Bac Giang Provincial Stadium. |
The ceremony to send the medical group to Bac Giang saw the attendance of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Head of the Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control under the MPS. The Deputy Minister asked all the 166 public security medical doctors as well as other public security reinforcements to exert all-out efforts to support Bac Giang in fighting the pandemic. |
Before undertaking missions at the field hospital, the doctors and nurses had all taken tests for COVID-19 and participated in a brief training course conducted by experienced medical experts from Bac Mai Hospital. |
They are ready for their upcoming important mission. |

The reinforced police force vowed to successfully fulfill their assigned tasks while strictly following pandemic prevention regulations and other regulations of the Public Security Forces. |
In addition to providing equipment and materials, the Ministry of Public Security will continue to mobilise human resources to help Bac Giang treat serious cases and avoid more deaths. |
