Japanese watch firm launches new edition with a map of Vietnam

PSNews – On the back of the special watch edition named “Orient 1010” is a map of Vietnam with the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands, as an affirmation of the Vietnam's territorial sovereignty.
At the launching ceremony of the special watch edition “Orient 1010”, a representative of the Japanese famous watch branch Orient Watch said that the special watch was made to celebrate the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi.

The special edition also expresses the respect of Orient Watch for the history of Hanoi, and the love for its Vietnamese clients.

The unique feature of the watch is the logo of Khue Van Cac - the symbol of Hanoi, featuring the studious spirit and the long-standing cultural tradition of the Hanoi people in particular and the Vietnamese people in general. The watch also carves the words “1010 years Thang Long – Hanoi.”

On the back of the special watch edition named “Orient 1010” is a map of Vietnam with the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Islands, as an affirmation of the Vietnam's territorial sovereignty.

Within the framework of the ceremony, Orient Watch in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists also organized a photo contest.

The contest drew the participation of thousands of photographers with tens of thousands of photos.
