Korean coach gives US$ 100 million reward for charity

PSNews - Coach Park Hang-seo of the Vietnam national football team on December 16 announced, he will donate the whole award of 100,000 USD, rewarded by the local company of Thaco Truong Hai, for charity activities in Vietnam.

Mr.  Tran Ba Duong, Chairman of the Truong Hai – Thaco group, on December 16, generously rewarded 100,000 USD to coach Park Hang-seo and 2 billion VND to the Vietnam national football team after they championed the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018. The award was presented at a ceremony to celebrate the founding anniversary of Thaco and to announce the adjusted development plan for the Chu Lai open economic zone.

Attending the ceremony, the Vietnam national football coach said, he will use the money to help develop the country’s most popular sport and ease difficulties of the poor in Vietnam.

Also on the morning of December 16, coach Park met Chairman of the Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group Doan Nguyen Duc and Chairman of the Vietnam Professional Football Joint-Stock Company Vo Quoc Thang, both of whom have contributed significantly to Vietnam’s football development in recent decades.
