The Heart Treatment Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University in collaboration with the An Giang Provincial Children Support Fund will offer free check-ups for congenital heart diseases in children on March 3rd-4th.

Doctors will perform echocardiographic examinations with ultrasonic techniques in heart patients. Those who have to undergo surgeries will be shifted to the Heart Treatment Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University.
Besides the funding from the An Giang Province's Children Support Fund, the Heart Treatment Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University will mobilize other donors to cover the costs of treatment of child patients with heart defects.
This programme is part of the annual charitable activities carried out by the Heart Treatment Center in Mekong Delta and Southeastern provinces.
Each year, the Heart Treatment Center provides free check-ups for about 2,000 patients and operations for nearly 400 cases.
