NA leader presents gifts to children in Tuyen Quang

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on September 30 presented gifts to primary and secondary students in Son Duong district of the northern mountainous province of Tuyen Quang ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

While handing over the gifts to students at Ton Duc Thang and Tuan Lo Primary Schools, Trung Yen and Tuan Lo Secondary Schools, the NA leader wished the children a fancy festival and a good academic year.

On the same day, Chairwoman Ngan visited and planted a tree at the National Assembly’s Standing Committee Relic Site in Trung Yen commune of Son Duong district where preserves many valuable documentaries on the Vietnam’s National Assembly since the first election.

She also offered incense and flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at a temple worshiping the late leader in Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Tuyen Quang city.

The chairwoman expressed her hope that the Party Organisation and people of Tuyen Quang will continue uphold the revolutionary tradition to reap greater development achievements, while preserving and promoting the values of its historical relic sites to educate patriotism for younger generations.
