Nearly 14,000 hotel workers serving APEC Summit Week
PSNews - It is estimated that nearly 14,000 hotel workers will serve the leaders, politicians, businesses and guests of the 21 APEC member economies participating in the APEC High Level Meetings in Da Nang.

A source from the APEC Secretariat 2017 said that 10,000 delegates from the 21 economies will attend the APEC High Level Events in Da Nang. These delegates will be arranged to stay at nearly 600 hotels and resorts with about 13,000 rooms in Da Nang.
The arrangement of the accommodation for the delegation of heads of state, international delegates and correspondents has been completed beforehand by the Da Nang tourism sector, the Reception Subcommittee, Logistics Subcommittee and APEC 2017 National Committee of Vietnam.

Food safety and hygiene have also been given high priority by the city's tourism industry.
In order to better serve the APEC delegates, in addition to investing in renovating facilities, the Da Nang Municipal Department of Tourism in collaboration with other organizations organized 10 training courses to share information related to APEC events, culture and customs of countries, diplomatic protocols, and common issues in serving APEC delegates for workers of the accommodation facilities.
