New train coaches to put in use during Tet holiday

• Vietnam Railways installs automatic ticket gates at Hanoi and HCMC train stations

The Vietnam Railway Corporation on December 27 held a ceremony to receive new passenger coaches, which will be soon put in use to meet an increasing demand for travelling during the upcoming Lunar New Year 2018 (Tet) holiday.

These 30 modern passenger coaches will be used for trains on the Southern routes and may later be attached to trains on the routes of Hanoi - Hue, Hanoi - Vinh, Hanoi - Lao Cai.

The new coaches, which were built with high technology and equipped with many modern facilities, will hopefully offer comfort to customers.
