Nine patients in Da Nang make full recovery from COVID-19

Healthcare facilities in Da Nang, the epicenter of the current coronavirus outbreak, on August 17 discharged an additional nine COVID-19 patients after making a full recovery from the virus.

COVID-19 patients are released from the Da Nang Hospital for Lung Diseases.

Among the discharged cases are three residents of central Quang Nam province who were released from Hoa Vang field hospital.

The additional six patients were recently released from the Da Nang Hospital for Lung Diseases, with five from Da Nang and one local from Phu My district, Binh Dinh province.

Recent checks have seen each of the patients test negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus three times, while none of them are displaying any symptoms such as a cough or a fever.

Following their release, each of the individuals will be placed into quarantine for a period of 14 days in line with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.

As of 6 a.m. on August 17, a total of 964 COVID-19 infections have been recorded in the nation, including 24 fatalities.
