Outstanding press photo honored
The 2nd Press Gala 2020 and the awards ceremony for “Press Moments 2019” were held by the Nha Bao Va Cong Luan (The Journalist and Public Opinion) Newspaper under the auspices of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA).

“Press Moments 2019” contest has drawn the participation of various photographers from press agencies all over the country. The judging board selected 50 photos for the finale and finally presented various prizes to excellent photos.
The “Impressive Photo” prize was given to Nguyen Tien Anh Tuan from the To Quoc (Fatherland) online newspaper for his work entitled “The people’s soldiers”.
The event was part of activities to mark the 95th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2020).
At the event, the most outstanding press photos captured in 2019 were honored. “Press Moments 2019” offered a useful playground for photographic reporters to showcase their professional skills.
The event is expected to contribute to encouraging both creativity and innovation as well as new perspectives on press photos.
