Over 3,000 Da Nang people clean environment to welcome APEC 2017 Summit Week

• President Quang underlines top security for APEC 2017
• Vietnamese signature products introduced to APEC delegates

Mr. Huynh Duc Tho - Chairman of the Da Nang Municipal People's Committee said, at the moment, the APEC 2017 National Committee and Da Nang city have basically completed all preparations from material to security medical and logistic issues for the APEC Summit Week.

A number of facilities to serve the APEC Summit Week have also been built or upgraded, meeting the requirements of the National Committee.

The "Green-Clean-Beautiful Sunday" campaign aimed to attract all local residents to the movement of making the city's environment clean and promoting a green, clean and beautiful Da Nang.

The movement to keep the city’s clean and beautiful environment has been conducted in Da Nang city for 13 years.

After the launching ceremony, the leaders of Da Nang city and more than 3,000 officials, students, people and officers of the local armed forces cleared bushes, collected garbage and cleaned streets and residential areas.
