Permanent Deputy PM urged to investigate traffic accident in Ha Nam
PSNews- Politburo Member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Chairman of the National Committee for Traffic Safety, chaired the nationwide teleconference on ensuring traffic safety in the 1st quarter of 2017.

Delivering his opening speech, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh expressed his heartfelt condolences to families of the victims of the serious traffic accident on the morning of March 16 in Ha Nam province, which killed 3 and injured 14. The Deputy PM also directed the authorities of Ha Nam and involved agencies to investigate the cause of this traumatic accident.
According to reports, provincial leaders have directed local forces to mobilize efforts and assets to cure the injured victims of the accident, to visit and inquire after the victims’families, and to provide financial assistance to families of the victims. At this point, the provincial police have focused its force on investigating the cause of the accident.
According to the National Committee on Traffic Safety, from December 16, 2016 to February 15, 2017, Vietnam witnessed 3,465 accidents, killing 1,570 and injuring 2,660. Compared to the first two months of 2016, the number of accidents, deaths and injuries had reduced.
