Phoenix Company offers 10,000 USD to support Vietnamese-Cambodian victims of fire in Cambodia

PSNews - The Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia on July 14 received 10,000 USD donated by the Trading Co. Phoenix Travel Vietnam to support Vietnamese-Cambodian victims of a recent blaze in Russey Keo District, Phnom Penh City.
The fire began at 3:30 am on July 10, burning down the houses and assets of 60 households of Vietnamese-Cambodian. |
On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in Phnom Penh, Counselor Nguyen Manh Cuong received the donation and expressed thanks to the staff and workers of the company for their empathy and support to Vietnamese Cambodians.
According to the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia, the fire began at 3:30 am on July 10, burning down the houses and assets of 60 households of Vietnamese-Cambodian and 10 Khmer households in Mitapheap Village, Russey Keo District, Phnom Penh City.
For many years, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of Phoenix Vietnam Company has actively supported and participated in social programs. Currently, Hung is a member of the Bac Ninh Provincinal Fatherland Front Committee and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association.
Previously, Mr. Hung had donated the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association 30,000 USD in support of the association's operation.
