Photo exhibition on front’s HCM City chapter opens

An exhibition featuring over 100 photos on important milestones in the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s chapter in Ho Chi Minh City during the 2015-2019 tenure  kicked off in the locality on June 21. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairwoman of the municipal VFF Central Committee To Thi Bich Chau said the event highlights the operation of the chapter and the front chapters in other localities in recent time. 

The exhibition is also an occasion to report to municipal people the results that the great national unity bloc of the city has achieved in the term, including the active participation of local people from all walks of life. 

Exhibited photos spotlight prominent activities of the VFF chapters at all levels in widely popularizing policies of the Party, and laws of the State in the community, while reflecting  the front’s outstanding achievements of patriotic emulation movements; supervision and promotion of grassroots democracy; and activities related to ethnic and religion work.

The event also presents an overview of achievements of HCM City in development and integration, and efforts of the municipal VFF chapter, departments and sectors in building the great national unity, and its contributions to maintaining political stability and promoting the city’s development.
