Project improves health care system in Central Highlands provinces
The course was organized by the Management Board of the Healthcare Project for the people in the Central Highlands provinces in collaboration with the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management under the Ministry of Public Security as part of the second phase of the project.
Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Ngoc Khue - Head of the Department said that the project aims to support the development of the healthcare system in the Central Highlands provinces, in order to meet an increasing demand for health checkups of local residents, especially the poor, ethnic minorities and disadvantaged groups, contributing to realizing the UN Millennium Development Goals.
After 4 years, the project has been carried out in 10 hospitals of 5 provinces in the Central Highlands, of which each province has 2 standard hospitals with improved management capacity and service quality.
During the 3-day course, doctors and nurses of Lam Dong province will also be introduced to modern medical examination and treatment systems and healthcare quality indexes.
