Accordingly, the grassroots-level police forces closely coordinated with the local functional forces and the Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control at all levels to check all households and make lists of people entering Vietnam during the period.

The police forces also inspected and listed foreigners staying and working at tourist companies, accommodation establishments, hotels, industrial parks and enterprises.

Further, the police forces requested people to make residence and health declarations and to strictly follow disease prevention regulations, contributing to early detecting and quarantining people with signs of Covid-19 infection.

Furthermore, the traffic police and social order police have mobilized maximum forces to manage people and means of transport travelling into and out of urban areas, on inter-provincial roads and land border areas, contributing to effectively minimizing Covid-19 infection.
