After the COVID-19 Prevention Steering Committee meeting in the afternoon of March 20, in same day evening, Truc Bach People's Committee authorized the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung to remove the quarantined post for a section of Truc Bach street (Ba Dinh district) after 14 days.

Earlier, at 22:00 on March 6, Hanoi blockaded a section of Truc Bach street when the 26-year-old girl was identified as the first case of COVID-19 in Hanoi and the 17th patient in Vietnam.

Until now, a total of 189 people in the quarantine area have been tested twice and tested negative for COVID-19.

Security forces work to remove the quarantine barriers that had previously been imposed on the street.

This area has been confirmed no new cases of infection since the 17th COVID-19 case was detected in Vietnam.

According to local authorities, suspected cases of individuals coming into contact with the 17th COVID-19 patient at Hong Ngoc Hospital who also tested negative for the virus were released from quarantine as of March 20.

The joy of adults is also the excitement of children.
