Scholarships presented to students in Phu Yen

PSNews - Former Vice President Truong My Hoa on November 27 attended a ceremony in Tuy Hoa city (Phu Yen) and presented 50 scholarships from the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and 90 scholarships from the “For beloved Hoang Sa-Truong Sa” Club to Phu Yen students.

The scholarships were handed to students of ethnic minorities with excellent academic performances and children of naval soldiers and fishermen in Phu Yen who were severely affected by storm No.12.

Each scholarship was worth from 800,000 VND to 1 million VND along with gifts from sponsors.
Speaking at the event, former Vice President Truong My Hoa expressed her sympathy toward the students and their families with losses due to the storm. She also encouraged the students to overcome difficulties and continue their study.
In the coming days, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the "For beloved Hoang Sa-Truong Sa" Club will continue their mission in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh.
