StartUp Journey 2019 kicks off in Hanoi

PSNews – The StartUp Journey 2019 hosted by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the Supporting Centre for Youth's Startup (SYS Vietnam) and Sun Bright Company was officially launched in Hanoi on October 1^st under the theme “Why Vietnam.”

This is an activity in response to the movement “I love my country” launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to arouse the creative entrepreneurship spirit among young people.

This year’s journey will introduce regional specialties and tourism environment and potential of each locality in Vietnam. So that the journey’s participants can propose IT application solutions to develop tourism information systems or applications for each locality in line with the project “Digital Vietnamese knowledge system” and the E-government project.

Besides, the participants can also offer solutions to advertise Vietnam’s natural landscape and traditional culture to the world.

The journey is expected to attract 120 official members who are young creative startups nationwide having tourism or technology related startup products and services, along with the team who won the Startup Idea competition “Start Hunt” 2019, and 30 delegates.

The journey will officially take place from October 10 in An Giang Province and finish on November 7 in Lao Cai Province, and stop at 9 provinces and cities.
