Storm Damrey strikes central and south-central coastal provinces

Storm Damrey has wreaked havoc in central and south-central coastal provinces, causing huge damage to these localities.

Residents of Tho Quang ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang city cleaned the streets while it rained in preparation for APEC Economic Leaders’ Week beginning on November 6
Fuel pumps were blown over.
Nha Trang people cannot travel on the streets as there was power cut and fallen trees block streets throughout the whole city.
Overnight on November 3 and into the morning of November 4, heavy rain and strong wind triggered by Storm Damrey caused hundreds of banners and billboards advertising APEC Economic Leaders’ Week to collapse.
A welcome gate to Bien Dong (East Sea) Park fell, barricading Vo Nguyen Giap Road.
Streets in Nha Trang City were inundated with water.
A car was buried beneath a sheet-metal roof on 2/4 Road, Nha Trang City.
The storm unroofed many houses in Khanh Hoa Province.
