Tens of thousands gather at Vietnamese festival in Tokyo

Tens of thousands gathered on June 10 at the Keraki Street Event Square in Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan just a short 10-minute walk from JR Harajuku Station for the opening of Vietnam Festival 2017.

In a speech at the event, Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Cuong, said he expected this year’s festival showcasing Vietnamese traditional entertainment, music, food booths and more to be bigger and better than ever.


He said he expects the event running June 10-11, 10am-8pm, to attract a record high 200,000 visitors.
