Toyota grants vehiclesused cars and spare-parts to local technical universities and colleges

PSNews - Within the framework of the Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP), Toyota Vietnam (TMV) continuously grants cars and equipment to 5 universities and colleges in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in support local vocational training and practice. 

In Hanoi, TMV has granted cars and automobile engines to University of Transport Technology and University of Industry. Meanwhile, 3 schools in Ho Chi Minh City received cars, namely Ho Chi Minh University of Technical Education, Cao Thang Technical College and Ho Chi Minh College of Economics and Technology, have also benefited from the program.

In particular, TMV has decided to offer three used cars of Corolla, Camry and Vios, 4 engines, 4 gear boxes, 3 bodyworks and 15 sets of car doors to tertiary technical schools in the two big cities with the aim of supporting local schools’ efforts to improve training efficiency and practical skills for trainees of the T-TEP standard curriculum.

In Vietnam, the Toyota T-TEP technical training program has been started by TMV since 2000. After graduation, trainees will have opportunity to work for Toyota Vietnam. Over the past17 years, TMV has successfully developed and implemented the program at 6 vocational training centers of 5 universities and colleges. 2,389 students have benefited from Toyota granted equipment, and 536 graduates have so far been employed by Toyota Vietnam.
