Two Lao traffickers caught for carrying 34,000 meth pills

Border guards of the central province of Thanh Hoa announced on May 9 that they caught two persons red-handed for carrying 34,000 meth pills from the Lao province of Houaphan to Vietnam. 

The arrested traffickers were Nang Dua Mua, 40, and Nang May Ho, 47, residing in Phusay village, Viengsay district, Houaphan province. 

They were arrested in Na Thoong village, Sam Neua district, Houaphan province on May 7. 

The Thanh Hoa provincial border guards and Houaphan’s Security Department are investigating the case.

Last month, border guards in the central province of Quang Binh captured three Lao nationals who were smuggling 24,000 methamphetamine pills into Vietnam.

They admitted they were transporting the methamphetamine pills from Laos to sell in Vietnam.
