Two scientists listed among top 10 outstanding scientific and technological events

This list saw the names of two scientists, namely Dr. Ha Phuong Thu and Prof. Nguyen Quang Liem.

As the Head of Nano-materials Division of the Institute of Materials Science under the Vietnam Academy Of Science and Technology, Phuong Thu is one of a few prominent young scientists in Vietnam who has 30 research projects on medical nano-materials published in international publications.

In 2017, she received the Vietnam Women's Award for her great contribution to the public healthcare service. She was also selected as one of the 50 most influential women in Vietnam in 2017 by Forbes Vietnam.

Prof. Nguyen Quang Liem is the Head of the Institute of Materials Science under the Vietnam Academy Of Science and Technology. He has had the ASEAN Meritorious Service Award (AMSA) and published more than 150 articles in prestigious international and national scientific journals.

In addition, the 20th anniversary of the Internet's presence in Vietnam and Viettel’s 4G operation in Vietnam also enter the list of top 10 outstanding scientific and technological events.
