Vietnam, Cambodia border youths to gather in November

PSNews – The 2019 exchange program for young journalists, youths and students from Vietnamese and Cambodian border provinces will take place in Tay Ninh province and Ho chi Minh City from November 5-8.

The event, hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, is to mark the 53rd founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cambodia (June 24, 1967).
This is also an opportunity for young people of the two countries to exchange and share experience in promoting bilateral relations and further preserving, promoting the good traditional ties between Vietnam and Cambodia.
Some 200 young journalists, youths and students from Vietnamese and Cambodian border provinces will gather at the exchange festival.
The festival features various activities, such as planting trees, inaugurating a playground for border children, visiting outstanding economic models, along with a seminar on the role of media in strengthening the friendship between youths of the two countries.
