The Prime Minister has just approved the a scheme to improve the quality of higher education in the period of 2019-2025, which includesing thea pilot program project on building several international university villages in the country.
Accordingly, the scheme set such goals as: 100% of the universities and colleges well perform the autonomy mechanism associated with accountability; 100% of the graduates meet the labor market’s standards, including command of foreign languages, skills in information technology and soft skills;
The cheme also set goal that more than 35% of the training programs have been appraised by domestic or international organizations, of which 100% of the programs on training teachers at all levels are qualified.
Notably, the scheme aims to bring at least 2 universities or colleges to the list of the 100 best universities in Asia and 10 higher education institutions are among the continent’s best 400 universities, while 4 higher education institutions listed among 1,000 best universities in the world according to prestigious international rankings.
