Vietnam unveil new football team jersey

The home kit for Vietnam’s national football teams this year features a large red star in an echo effect design at the center, which represents the resilience and unity of the Vietnamese people, the players, and the millions of football fans around the country.
Produced by Grand Sport, the jerseys of 2021 use modern technology in producing light, breathable and sweat-absorbent jerseys to aid players in training and competing.
This is the sixth year Grand Sport has cooperated with the VFF to introduce new uniforms.

“The design of Vietnam Football Jersey 2021 is full of youthful, energetic, and the desire to win. VFF hope that with this new jersey, the national teams will be more confident as they look to perform in upcoming tournaments,” said Le Hoai Anh, VFF General Secretary.
There are two uniforms, one red and one white for competitions and green for goalkeepers, with light blue for other activities, for teams including the men’s and women’s national squads.
This year, the VFF’s long-term partner will also provide jerseys for junior sides from U16 to U23.
Grand Sport's representative Tran Thanh Trung said that, the group hopes Vietnamese teams perform well in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, AFF Cup and the SEA Games.
