Water Purifiers donated to people in Tra Vinh and Soc Trang

The “Renewable Water Day” Project on May 9 presented saltwater purification systems with capacity of 1,000 liters/hour to people in Tra Vinh and Soc Trang provinces, each of the systems worth 320 million VND.

People in the two provinces of Tra Vinh and Soc Trang are still seriously affected by droughts and salt water intrusion; as a result, they do not have enough fresh water for their daily activities.

The “Renewable Water Day” Project has donated to install a saltwater purifier for people in Tai Van (Tran De district, Soc Trang) and another in Ham Giang (Tra Cu district, Tra Vinh).

This is a non-profit program funded by Dai Viet Electronics Company with its the Daikiosan – Makano water purifier brand. to the program aims at installing saltwater purifiers for people in need in eight Mekong Delta provinces, including Ben Tra, Tien Giang, Long An, Ca Mau, KienGiang, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang and Bac Lieu, with a total cost of 4.5 billion VND.
