Winners of Vietnam-Indonesia diplomatic relations logo contest honored

The Vietnamese Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, coordinated with the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam to hold an event to announce the winner of a Vietnam and Indonesia relations logo competition to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Indonesia on August 19.
The winning work by a Vietnamese contestant. 

The event, which took place in Jakarta, saw the presence of Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia Pham Quang Vinh and other diplomatic officials of Indonesia.

Of the total of 772 entries, the organizing board selected the best five, and awarded one first prize and four consolation prizes. The first prize went to artist Tran Hoai Duc from Vietnam.

The winning work will be used as the official logo by all diplomatic agencies and offices of the two countries on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Indonesia diplomatic relations. 

Vietnam and Indonesia established diplomatic relations in 1955. The two countries signed a joint declaration on friendly and comprehensive cooperation in 2003. In 2013, they set up their strategic partnership and inked an action plan to deploy the bilateral strategic partnership.
