Youths take on national service on the day of love

The ceremony was held for nearly 50 new recruits of the Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
Of the 50 local youths in the 2017 recruitment drive, about 17 volunteered to join the army while nearly 60 % had already graduated from a college or university.

During the 2-years military service, youths will be trained in a disciplined environment of the army. This should be seen as both a responsibility and a great honor of each young citizen.

That should be a special moment for the recruits as they left their homes, their relatives, their lovers on the Valentine’s day, to serve the country.
