From 15th September, students in grades 3 classes of 4 primary schools in Hanoi include Nguyen Du primary school, Khuong Thuong primary school, Chu Van An primary school, Gateway international primary school and Vietnam-Australia school in Ho Chi Minh city have to study Japanese.
It’s a part of teaching Japanese programme which make Japanese begin the first foreign language for students from thirdgrade in Vietnam.
The teaching of Japanese will be piloted in these 5 primary schools as from the 2016-2017 school year.
After that, base on teaching result, it will expand Japanese classes to schools in other province and cities.
