President Duterte to visit VN next week

The Philippines President’s visit will be made at the invitation of his counterpart, President Tran Dai Quang, according to MoFA yesterday.

Since Vietnam and the Philippines set up diplomatic ties in 1976, the bilateral ties have been nurtured based on amity, equality, mutual respect and cooperation beneficial to the peoples of both nations.

The two countries upgraded bilateral ties to strategic partnership level in 2015 with a view to elevate the diplomatic level, intensity of bilateral exchanges and to harness advantages for common development.
