On September 28th, 28-9, Thua Thien-Hue fire police force organized the 1st Professional Fire Fighting and Rescuing sporting event 2016.

At the sporting event, firefighters and officials from 4 divisions of Thua Thien-Hue fire and Rescue Police Department have competed in 3 games including 100m rescue challenge with obstacle race ;4x100m coordinating run to rescue; fire ground operation.
Leaders of Thua Thien-Hue fire police force said, the sporting event is an opportunity for firefighters and officials to practice, improve fire protection, fire fighting and rescuing skills.

In the closing ceremony of the sporting event, the director board have awarded the first prize, second and third respectively for Division 1, Division 4 and Division 3. In addition, all individual winners were also awarded.
