105 works win Vietnam’s 12th National Press Awards

PSNews – The 12th National Press Award’s jury council has completed their duties, selecting best press and media pieces for prizes, after two days working in a serious, responsible and objective manner.

Accordingly, 105 outstanding press and media pieces will be awarded, including 8 A prizes, 25 B prizes, 43 C prizes and 29 consolation prizes, announced Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association Thuan Huu at a press conference in Hanoi.

The 12th National Press Award’s jury council has completed their duties, selecting best press and media pieces for prizes, after two days working in a serious, responsible and objective manner.

According to the President of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, the entries to the 2017’s National Press Award had well covered the country’s important events as well as socio-economic development, security and national defense, the Government's policies and decisions.

Many pieces discussed and analyzed the hottest issues of the country, introduced exemplars in movements, people with good deeds in daily life, and excellent entrepreneurs.

Particularly, some press and media pieces also actively contributed to the Party and people’s struggle against corruption and wastefulness as well as the fight against wrong views, malicious plots and sabotage activities of hostile and reactionary forces.

The award ceremony will be held in Hanoi on June 21 to celebrate the 93th Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism Day.
