127 outstanding groups and individuals of Vietnam People's Army to be honored

Previously, on December 26th 2013, the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission issued Directive 788- CT/QUTW on launching movement “Promoting tradition, contributing talent, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers”.

It is the concretization of the movement ”Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, moral and style”, in association with the implementation of the Party Central Committee’s Resolution 4 on "Some urgent issues in current Party building " in line with the current situation and missions of the Vietnam People's Army in the new era.

After 3 years of the implementation, the movement has witnessed many new outstanding groups and individuals as models with their widespread and profound popularity in the whole army and positive effects on society.

The meeting to honor outstanding groups and individuals is expected to take place on May 16th and 17th in Military Zone 4 with many activities such as: merit reporting ceremony, visiting the Kim Lien relic site, meeting and honoring 127 outstanding groups and individuals under the chairmanship of the Minister of Defenses and leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army.
