2nd Singapore International Cyber Week opens
PSNews-Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean attended and addressed at the Opening Ceremony of the “2nd Singapore International Cyber Week – 2017” on September 19.

The delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam led by Senior Lieutenant To Lam, Minister of Public Security participated in various activities of the Cyber Week.
In his opening remarks, Singaporean Deputy PM stated that despite some good progress in building capacity for cybersecurity, Singapore is still facing challenges related to network security. The Deputy PM said that in order to solve the problem, Singapore will set up the Institute of Network Security. Additionally, Singapore will continue to strengthen international cooperation in the field of network security and safety.
The 2nd Singapore International Cyber Week 2 saw the presence of senior leaders in charge of cyber security from various nations, leading experts in the field of information technology and network security. Over the course of the week, a number of conferences and symposia will be held, such as the International Technology Leaders Conference, which addresses the “Implementation of the Principles of Public Behavior responsible technology” as well as technology principles workshop.
The International Cyber Week will also feature the participation of large corporations and businesses around the world to exhibit and introduce solutions for network security and safety as well as new technology applied in different fields.
