Burial ceremony for President Tran Dai Quang in homeland held

PSNews - After leaving Hanoi, the coffin of President Tran Dai Quang arrived in his hometown in Kim Son District of Ninh Binh Province. At 3:30p.m on September 27, the burial ceremony for President Tran Dai Quang began.
All vehicles have been banned on the road during the parade. The road runs to Phap Van-Cau Gie Expressway which connects Hanoi with Ninh Binh Province, where President Quang will be buried.
People of Ninh Binh and neighboring localities pay tribute to President Tran Dai Quang on street, despite rainy weather. 
On the morning of September 27, Party Chief Nguyen Phu Trong started the memorial service at the National Funeral Home in Hanoi by delivering an eulogy, briefing participants on the career and contribution of President Tran Dai Quang.
The coffin parade arrived in Ninh Binh Province at nearly 2 p.m. on September 27 for a burial ceremony. Honour guards took the coffin of President Tran Dai Quang to his resting place.

HE Tran Dai Quang, who served as Vietnam's Minister of Public Security before becoming President in April 2016, passed away on September 21 after battling a serious illness for more than a year
His coffin is placed near the grave, where the President will be burried. 

Family members of the President and a number of Party and State officials were first to throw dirt on his coffin. On September 26 and 27, a total of 1,658 delegations with around 50,000 persons have paid homage to President Tran Dai Quang at three sites in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Ninh Binh.

Although the President has turned to dust, His great mind, spirit and contribution will live forever with the country, Vietnamese people.
