Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong meets voters in Hung Yen province

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, member of the Party Central Committee and member of the Hung Yen province’s National Assembly (NA) delegation on October 1 met with voters of My Hao and Van Giang district, Hung Yen province.

At the meeting, representatives of the Hung Yen provincial NA delegation briefed voters on the agenda for the 14th NA’s sixth working session; and some activities of the Hung Yen provincial NA delegation in recent times.

Accordingly, the upcoming session of the NA will focus on reviewing and making some decisions on socio-economic issues, state budget and other important issues. The Q&A sessions will be simplified. While NA deputies are asked clear questions, government member should answer the questions in a short and straight manner.

The NA will also consider approving nine bills; discuss six other legal projects that are important to the development of the country.

Of the bills that is expected to be passed at the working session, there are four bills drafted by the Ministry of Public Security, namely the Law on People's Public Security Forces (amended), Law on Protection of State Secrets, Law on the Protection of State Secrets (amended), Law on Amnesty (amended) and Laws on Execution of Criminal Judgments.

At the meetings, votes highly valued the sense of responsibility of the provincial NA’s deputies at the fifth working session as they had reflected voters' opinions to the legislature of the country, contributing to quickly resolving some existing issues in the locality.

Voters of My Hao and Van Giang districts continued asking several questions about waste import, communal-level healthcare, health insurance and healthcare for elderly people.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong  in his capacity as a deputy of the NA delegation answered some questions from the voters on issues related to security and order; traffic order and safety; crime prevention and fight; fraudulent appropriation of assets; and fight against corruption.
