Developing Vietnam-Belarus traditional friendship

PSNews-Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security held talks with Mr. Igor Anatolievich Shunevich, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, who is leading a high-ranking Belarusian delegation to visit Vietnam, on November 8 in Hanoi.

Speaking at the talks, the host highly valued the visit by the Belarusian Minister and the senior delegation to Vietnam, expressing hope that the visit would contribute to promoting bilateral cooperation in various areas, including crime control and prevention, protection of national security and social order of each country, and enhancing the sound friendship between the two countries.

Vietnam treasured the fine political relations with Belarus, and would strive to strengthen the friendly ties in a practical and effective manner between the two sides, the host underscored.

Today’s world sees science and technology developing at a remarkable pace, and globalization and international integration expanding,, the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam suggests both sides continue exchange of delegations at various levels as well as share experience and information on crime control and further cooperation in hunting wanted subjects in the other country.

The two nations should boost cooperation in training expertise and professional skills, improving competence for law enforcement officers, especially in preventing cyber-crime, drug-related crime,economic crime and hi-tech crime.

On behalf of the Belarusian delegation, Mr. Igor Anatolievich Shunevich expressed his gratitude to the Vietnamese Minister for the kind reception and hoped that Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and Belarus’s Internal Ministry continue developing toward practical outcomes in all fields, contributing to ensuring social order and safety, and national security of each country.
