Former Party leader Do Muoi through historical documentary photos

Comrade Do Muoi held various positions during his political career, making great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation. Let’s look back on documentary photos of the Former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee.

The former Party chief was among members of the Presidium of the 5th National Party Congress in March 1982. At the congress, he was elected to the Politburo of the CPV Central Committee.
At the 6th National Party Congress, Nguyen Van Linh was elected General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee while Do Muoi was appointed as permanent member of the CPV Central Committee’s Secretariat.

At the third session of the National Assembly, the 8th tenure, Comrade Do Muoi was elected President of the Council of Ministers on June 22, 1988.
