Hanoi is taking final steps of setting up an international media center for the upcoming meeting between leaders of the U.S. and DPRK in the Vietnamese capital.
The International Media Centre for the upcoming DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam officially opened to journalists on February 23 in Hanoi.
Hall A, which is more than 1,000 square meters in size, has a reception desk to guide reporters and around 1,000 tables and chairs.
The center is divided into three areas and will be open 24x7 for the thousands of international reporters who will cover the meeting. Some 2,600 foreign reporters have registered to cover the summit, Vietnam's foreign ministry said.
The media center will have a shared work space equipped with networked computers and LCD screens to watch live broadcasts of all events connected to the summit.
Press agencies can also rent space and set up their own nine-square-meter booth with tables, chairs, LCD screens, telephone lines, and an internet connection.
