Int’l exhibition on fire safety equipment opens in Hanoi

On September 21st, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the Vietnam Police Fire and Rescue Department in collaboration with JSC Trade Fair and Advertising Vietnam, Messe Frankfurt company held the International Exhibition “Fire Safety & Rescue Vietnam - Secutech Vietnam - Electric & Automation Vietnam 2016 (from 21st to 24th September).

The exhibition was attended by Mr. Truong Hoa Binh - member of the Political Bureau, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh - Deputy Minister of Public Security; as well as the representatives, former leaders of Vietnam ministries and departments, international organizations, etc.

Introducing about the Exhibition, Major General, Dr. Doan Viet Manh - Director General of the Vietnam Police Fire and Rescue Department, Head of the exhibition director board asserted that the international exhibition was held successfully several times in Vietnam. However, in 2016, it is formed in a larger scale, reflects as the most professional exhibition in the field of security, safety, firefighting and rescuing. 

The expo featured 45 booths with the participation of 250 units including agencies, organizations, manufacturers, suppliers in security, safety, firefighting and rescuing from 18 countries such as the UK, Austria, India, Germany, South Korea, the US, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Russia, Japan, France, Singapore, Turkey, the Middle Korea, Taiwan ...

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Deputy Minister of Public Security Bui Van Thanh and delegates cut the ribbon at the opening the exhibition.

In the framework of the exhibition, there is 2 major seminars on the work of ensuring fire safety at skyscrapers, industrial park and numerous other symposiums.... 

In addition, there are training sections for visitors about basic fire escape planning, initially first aid skills, and troubleshooting skills on vehicles. Visitors also are able to practice actual firefighting and rescuing situations.   

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Deputy Minister of Public Security Bui Van Thanh visited the exhibition booths.

Speaking at the opening, Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh suggested through the activities within the framework of the exhibition, the State management agencies are able to access the cutting-edge technology and innovative yet modern products, which purposes to directly serve the assurance of security, protect the safety and property of citizen, to contribute to the development of economic - society in the age of international integration.
