Italy and the expectation towards the visit of State President Tran Dai Quang

The schedule for visiting Italy of Vietnamese State President Tran Dai Quang in December being painstakingly prepared,  Italian Ambassador Cecilia Piccioni said.
According to the Ambassador, the content and priorities of the visit are under on-going discussion by the two parties, so it not the time for disclosing.

Ambassor Cecilia Piccioni stressed, this official visit is being expected by Italian government and is a landmark for the next development in the Vietnam-Italy bilateral relations. Last year, in November, Italian President Sergio Mattarella paid four-day visit at state-level to Vietnam.

At the press release on October 21, Ambassador Cecilia Piccioni also announced, on October 28, it will be the first time for Italy to establish a consular counters in Danang city.

Italian Minister of Justice will inaugurate this consular counter on his occasion of working in Vietnam. The citizens of Danang and other central provinces will save money, time and get visa quickly without going to Italian General Consulate in Ho Chi Minh city or Italian embassy in Hanoi.

The visa processing time in this consular counter will be not later as compared to the durations in two aforementioned locations. Italy is the first member of Schengen founding a consular counter in Danang while there are an increasing number of Vietnamese travelling, studying or working in this country.

Ambassador revealed, a series of Italian language, cusine, design, culture, fashion promotional activities will take place from now to the end of December in Vietnam such as, the participation of Italian fashion designers in Vietnam Fashion Week, the involvement of Italian in Hanoi International Festival or Vietnam Food Export Fair and the 16th Italian language culture.
