MPS and MST sign cooperation program for 2021 – 2025 period

PSNews- General To Lam, Minister of Public Security and Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of Science and Technology co-chaired a conference to review the cooperation program between the two ministries in the period of 2016 – 2020 and signed a new deal for the period of 2021 – 2025.

General To Lam, Minister of Public Security (MPS) and Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of Science and Technology (MST), on December 30, co-chaired a conference to review the cooperation program between the two ministries in the period of 2016 – 2020 and signed a new deal for the period of 2021 – 2025.

Minister To Lam and Minister Huynh Thanh Dat sign a cooperation program between the two ministries for the period 2021 – 2025.

The event also saw the presence of Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Mr. Bui The Huy, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, and representatives of the two ministries.

Speaking at the conference, Minister To Lam emphasized that over the past years, the Ministry of Public Security made significant achievements in scientific and technological research, development and application, contributing to firmly protecting national security, social order and safety as well as to the building of professional and elite public security forces.

With the good outcomes of cooperation program during the 2016-2020 period, Minister To Lam believed that the two ministries continue to achieve fruitful results of the bilateral cooperation in the field of science and technology in the period of 2021 - 2025. 

On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security presented  National Security Protection Medals and the Certificates of Merit to agencies and officials of the Ministry of Science and Technology with large contributions to the bilateral cooperation. 

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Science and Technology awarded Science and Technology Medals and Certificates of Merit to units and officers of the Ministry of Public Security.
