Minister To Lam receives Ambassador of UAE
Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security on August 27 received Mr.Obaid Saeed Bintaresh Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Vietnam.

Minister Lam welcomed the incoming Ambassador of the UAE and wished him much success during his term of office in Vietnam.
Minister Lam also hoped that Ambassador Obaid Saeed Bintaresh Al Dhaheri would make contributions to developing the bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries in general and between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam and the Ministry of Interior and security and law enforcement agencies of the UAE in particular, for the sake of national interests of each country, and for peace and stability in the region and in the world.
Minister Lam also emphasized that the relations between the two nations have witnessed positive developments in various areas, including politics, diplomacy, socio-economics, trade, investment and culture.
The cooperation between the MPS of Vietnam and the Ministry of Interior of the UAE has been deepened and expanded effectively, particularly in security, police and interior affairs.

Minister Lam hoped that both sides would further continue to strengthen cooperation activities in areas of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of information and experience exchange, prevention and fight against crimes, and science and technology.
The Ambassador of UAE thanked Minister To Lam for his kind reception and confirmed that he would strive to contribute to promoting the relations between the two countries as well as cooperation between the MPS of Vietnam and law enforcement agencies of the UAE.
