Minister To Lam visits Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar

On December 11, the Minister and his entourage met with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Qatar.
The event also saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thao, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Qatar.
On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam briefed the Vietnamese expats on the home country’s security and order situation over the past years as well as the cooperation results between Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and Qatar partners.
Minister To Lam appreciated the efforts and achievements of the Embassy’s staff in promoting the bilateral relationship between the two countries and suggested that they should continue realizing Vietnam-Qatar commitments and agreements, promoting exchange of high-ranking delegations and people-to-people exchange between the two countries.
The embassy was also requested to create favorable conditions for the cooperation between the ministries and localities of the two countries contributing to socio-economic development, national defense and security, and protect the legitimate interests of overseas Vietnamese in Qatar.
On this occasion, the Minister praised the students of Hanoi-Amsterdam High School who had gained good achievements at a recent international contest held in Qatar.
