Ministries of Justice and Public Security beef up cooperation
PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Justice co-organized a conference to promote working cooperation between the two ministries, with the aim of meeting their task requirements in the current context.
The conference was attended and co-chaired by Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security and Mr. Le Thanh Long, Minister of Justice. The event was also attended by various delegates from different departments and agencies under the two ministries.

Participants of the conference discussed, exchanged fine outcomes, shortcomings and difficulties in the cooperation between the two ministries. The conference also highlighted the focus of cooperation on building legal projects; handling difficulties in judicial assessment; and proposed initiatives to build on and renew the bilateral cooperation mechanism.
Addressing the event, Minister Le Thanh Long underscored the need to expand bilateral cooperation between the two ministries in all working fields.

Minister To Lam applauded proposals and recommendations by delegates at the conference. He also urged relevant agencies of both ministries to further cooperate in all working fields.
On this occasion, the two ministers awarded former and incumbent leaders of the two ministries the insignias “National Security Protection” and “For Justice Cause” in recognition of their merits and contributions to national security and social order.
